You'll wear the hat of Lead Systems Engineer. If you like variety and impact, this is your playground. Your responsibilities will include the following:Define and maintain system, product, and subsystem specifications, ensuring full traceability from needs to verificationContribute to system architecture definition, design trades, and performance budgets (mass, power, data, thermal)Manage interfaces between subsystems and with the satellite and customer systems, maintaining up-to-date interface documentationPlan and oversee integration, verification, and acceptance activities, managing non-conformances and deviationsEnsure compliance with ECSS and internal quality processes, and support configuration control of all deliverablesCoordinate across technical disciplines to maintain consistency, resolve cross-domain issues, and ensure design integrityProvide technical input to commercial proposals, including workpackage definition and scope reviewParticipate in technical reviews and customer meetings, ensuring commitments and quality standards are met.Must havesMaster's degree (or equivalent) in systems, mechatronics, aerospace, electrical/electronic engineering, or related field5–10 years in systems engineering on complex systemsComfortable in cross-functional environments and in deeply technical interactionsExcellent synthesis, rigor, collaborative leadership, and sense of ownershipFluent in EnglishTeam spiritWould be super niceExposure to actuators or satellite attitude controlExperience in aerospace sector and familiar with aerospace development standards and processesFrench and/or DutchWhat's in it for youSeveral add-ons on top of your salaryOffice in Leuven, within biking/walking distance of the stationOpen and humane work environmentStrong growth prospects in a fast-moving, expanding companyPotential to grow into a Product Owner role, taking full technical and architectural ownership of the product line.Does it feel like we are talking about you?
