We're Hiring: Data Engineer | Brussels, BelgiumWe are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join a data-driven environment where you will design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions supporting analytics and business intelligence use cases.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale data platformsBuild and maintain data processing applications using Java, Python, or SparkEnsure data quality, consistency, and integrity across systemsOptimize batch processing, scheduling, and performance of data workflowsImplement monitoring, alerting, and automation for data pipelinesCollaborate closely with Business Analysts and Data Scientists to translate business needs into technical solutionsSupport data governance, security, and regulatory compliance (e.g. GDPR)Troubleshoot complex data issues and drive continuous improvementRequired Skills & Experience3–6+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a data-intensive roleStrong experience with ETL tools (Informatica PowerCenter, Talend, DataStage, etc.)Excellent SQL skills and experience with large-scale databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase)Strong knowledge of Java (Spring Boot, Maven) and/or PythonExperience with batch processing, scheduling, and monitoringFamiliarity with CI/CD, automation, and DevOps practices is a plusBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
