Assignments

We are looking for a Project Test Engineer to join one of our clients in the automotive sector.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Serving as the single point of contact for an extended test plan and ensuring agreed milestones are met
  • Managing and justifying required resources, people, test benches, and more, to complete the test plan within agreed timing
  • Proactively identifying and unblocking items that prevent progress, working with autonomy and initiative
  • Reporting test progress on a regular basis to the Team Leader Test Center Support
  • Collaborating closely with internal departments (hardware & software engineering, project management) as well as external suppliers and testing facilities
  • Actively contributing to innovative projects in the field of powertrain development

The profile

Background

You hold an engineering degree in industrial, electromechanical, or mechanical engineering — or equivalent by experience.

Must Have

  • Familiarity with the automotive product creation process
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead and coordinate within a multidisciplinary team
  • Autonomous, perseverant, and systematic working style with a goal-oriented and analytical mindset
  • Strong communication skills and a solid command of English (oral and written), with the ability to report results clearly and effectively

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of transmissions (CVT, DCT, hybrid or electric powertrains)
  • Experience in automotive testing and testing facilities
