Akkodis is looking for a Project Test Engineer to join its consulting team and contribute to the development and validation of next-generation automotive powertrain technologies.

The Assignment

We are looking for a Project Test Engineer to join an innovative automotive environment focused on the development of automatic transmissions, hybrid systems, and full electric powertrains.

As part of the Test Center team, you will play a key role in the validation of new transmission technologies and act as the Test discipline representative within multidisciplinary project teams.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Acting as the Test discipline project leader within new transmission development projects.

• Serving as the single point of contact for extended test plans and ensuring project milestones are achieved on time.

• Managing and justifying the resources required to execute testing activities, including personnel and test benches.

• Ensuring smooth project execution by proactively resolving issues that may impact progress.

• Monitoring and reporting test progress on a regular basis.

• Coordinating closely with internal stakeholders such as hardware and software engineering teams, project managers, and other technical departments.

• Collaborating with external suppliers and testing facilities.

• Contributing actively to innovative projects related to future mobility solutions.

• Supporting the successful development and validation of CVT, DCT, hybrid, and electric powertrain technologies.

Who are you?

You have an Engineering degree in Industrial Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent through experience. You are passionate about automotive development and enjoy coordinating complex testing activities in a highly technical environment.

Your skills

• Strong project management skills.

• Good understanding of the automotive product development process.

• Professional proficiency in English.

• Ability to manage testing resources and priorities effectively.

• Experience with automotive testing methodologies and test facilities is a strong asset.

• Knowledge of transmission systems (CVT, DCT) is considered a plus.
