We are looking for an experienced Freelance Mobile Robot Commissioning Engineer to take the lead on mapping, navigation setup and full on-site integration. The RoleYou will be responsible for bringing a fleet of AGVs/AMRs into operation on a live production site. This includes:On-site mapping, navigation setup, and route configurationPerforming commissioning, testing and optimisation of AGVs/AMRsImplementing safety zones, traffic rules and collision-avoidance logicCalibration of sensors: LIDAR, scanners, and navigation systemsIntegrating mobile robots with conveyors, lifting systems and existing automationTroubleshooting robot behaviour, mission logic and navigation errorsWorking closely with internal engineering teams to ensure a smooth go-live Technical Background We're Looking ForProven experience commissioning AGVs/AMRsExperience with mapping, SLAM or navigation setupHands-on experience with mobile robot brands (MiR, Omron, Hikrobot, Kivnon, DS Automotion, etc.)Strong understanding of industrial automation environmentsDutch-speaking and able to work fully on-site What's On OfferFreelance contract (6 months)Attractive hourly rate Chance to lead the commissioning on a flagship mobile robotics projectWork directly with a respected engineering team developing next-generation intralogistics systems
