Commissioning Manager

We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to lead commissioning activities on a prominent Data Centre project for an industry leading Construction firm. This role offers the opportunity to work on technically challenging, high-value developments within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment. You will play a key role in ensuring systems are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.About the RoleAs a Commissioning Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the full commissioning lifecycle of a greenfield hyperscale data centre project — from planning and coordination through to execution and handover. You will work closely with design, construction, and operations teams to ensure systems perform as intended and meet project requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development and implementation of commissioning strategies, procedures, and schedules for data centre projects.Coordinate commissioning activities across multiple disciplines and stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery.Conduct inspections and quality reviews to confirm systems meet performance, safety, and reliability standards.Monitor project progress and provide clear reporting on scope, schedule, and budget performance.Manage vendor commissioning teams, reviewing documentation, testing protocols, and results.Drive best practices in commissioning and implement lessons learned across projects.Identify issues proactively and work collaboratively with project teams to resolve them.Ensure alignment between design, installation, and operational performance objectives.About YouDegree-qualified in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.Proven experience in the commissioning of data centres or other mission-critical facilities.Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, control systems, and mechanical infrastructure.Excellent organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative and solutions-focused approach.A commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement in all aspects of project delivery.This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced commissioning professional to contribute to the successful delivery of high-performance data centres in a growing global market.Please apply now and we will be in touch if your profile is a good fit for the role
