Junior Accountant (2-4 Years) – Brussels (Automotive Finance)Languages: Dutch + French + EnglishWe are supporting a leading automotive finance organisation in Brussels in the search for a talented Accountant to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 2-4 years of experience who wants to deepen their expertise within an international, fast-moving, and well-structured finance environment.In this role, you'll support daily accounting operations while contributing to month-end close, statutory reporting and audit activities. You'll be part of a collaborative finance department where accuracy, initiative, and continuous learning are valued.Your Key ResponsibilitiesDaily Finance & SystemsProcess Sofico / Miles transactions accurately and efficiently.Manage accounts receivable and support VAT-related accounting (basic sales VAT + input VAT).Month-End / Year-EndSupport month-end and year-end closing activities.Assist in the preparation of annual consolidated statutory accounts.Contribute to statutory tax numbers, notes, and corporation tax return preparation.Audit & ReconciliationLiaise with external auditors during statutory audits.Support bank reconciliations, including overhead and foreign currency accounts.General ResponsibilitiesPerform ad-hoc financial analyses, investigations and reporting tasks.Contribute to special projects as assigned by senior finance leadership.What You Bring1-4 years' accounting experience within a structured finance or accounting environment.Experience with Sofico / Miles is highly preferred.Solid understanding of basic sales VAT and input VAT processes.Hands-on experience with accounts receivable.Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.Excellent communication skills in Dutch and French
