Freelance System Engineer (Hydraulics) - Hybrid - Long TermWe are seeking a skilled System Engineer with a strong background in hydraulics, mechanical systems, and software integration. In this role, you will be responsible for writing system requirements, defining transitions and operational sequences, and ensuring that hydraulic systems and clutch mechanisms function correctly across all use cases. You will work closely with mechanical, electrical, and software teams to deliver reliable and high-performance system solutions.ResponsibilitiesDefine and write system requirements, functional specifications, and interface documentation for hydraulic and clutch systems.Develop and validate system transitions, operational sequences, and control logic.Ensure proper functionality and reliability of hydraulic actuators, valves, pumps, clutches, and related components.Collaborate with mechanical, software, controls, and testing teams to ensure seamless integration of system components.Perform system-level analysis, including failure modes, performance assessments, and safety considerations.Support testing activities, including bench tests, system integration tests, and validation of hydraulic and clutch performance.Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and propose corrective actions.Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, safety requirements, and engineering processes.Maintain detailed documentation, including system architecture, transition diagrams, flow charts, and verification reports.Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to future system enhancements.Additional Details:START DATE: ASAPDURATION: Long termCONTRACT: FreelanceONSITE POLICY: Flemish region or Eindhoven area (flexible remote working)HOURS PER WEEK: Full timeLANGUAGES: English onlyINTERVIEW PROCESS: One stageIf you are interested or know anyone who could be a good fit please send your CV to matthew@Kodastaff.com
