To expand our Sales team, we are looking for a Sales Engineer.

Your responsibilities include the following:

You will prepare customised quotations for our customers' upcoming automation projects. These quotations include our services (ranging from E&I, PLC/SCADA to MES/IT) and/or materials. For this, you work closely with the Global Accounts Manager;
If necessary, you participate in meetings with the customer in which they clarify their needs and expectations. During these meetings, you assume the role of technical specialist and listen to their questions and ideas;
You can read and interpret specifications;
You contact customers in the quotation phase when specifications are still unclear;
You have contact with possible suppliers in connection with prices and technical specifications;
For detailed questions outside (and within) your own specialisation, you can fall back on the project engineers of the various departments;
You present your offer as a conclusive story on the customer's demand and defend the choices made on the basis of well-founded arguments.

Passion for automation? It’s you we’re looking for

You have a degree in a technical field or equivalent through experience;
You have a thorough knowledge of one or more branches within industrial automation;
You can work autonomously as well as in a team;
Thinking analytically and working accurately are no problem for you;
You enjoy working on projects on a conceptual basis;
You are communicative and enjoy contacting customers, suppliers or colleagues to gather sufficient information to make a competitive offer;
You are stress-resistant and strong in organising your work. You set priorities and respect deadlines;
You are fluent in Dutch, French and English;
You are in possession of a driving licence B;
You are fluent in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
