Activity domain The mission of the Cyber Security Coalition is to bolster Belgium’s cyber security resilience by building a strong cyber security ecosystem. We do so by bringing together the skills and expertise of the academic world, the private sector and public authorities on a trust-based platform aimed at fostering information exchange, operational peer-to-peer collaboration, making recommendations for more effective policies and guidelines, and finally carrying out joint awarenessraising campaigns aimed at citizens and organisations. www.cybersecuritycoalition.be

Job description

Be the heartbeat of Belgium’s leading cyber security community - 220+ member organisations and 2,300+ experts— turning relationships into impact. We’re building a healthy, inclusive community that activates members, runs high-value programmes and events, and delivers content that informs, connects, and grows engagement. We’re not providing a long list of activities and tasks. Membership Relation Management
• Manage and strengthen member relationships by serving as the primary contact, ensuring satisfaction and retention, handling renewals and upselling, fostering partnerships for long-term impact, and proactively addressing risks to prevent churn.
Business Development
• Drive member acquisition and revenue growth by identifying prospects, building pipelines, and executing strategies to expand market reach.

Focus Group Management
• Strategically steer and operationally coordinate the full lifecycle of focus groups - from chair engagement and content planning to meeting execution, and continuous relevance assessment
Value Proposition & Community Building
• Enhance member value and engagement by addressing needs, fostering collaboration, and representing the community’s voice to strengthen impact
Data-Driven Improvement & Reporting
• Analyse engagement and feedback to optimise initiatives, maintain accurate member data, and report insights for continuous improvement.
Marketing, Events & Partnerships
• Boost engagement and visibility by driving communications, events, partnerships, and sponsorships to strengthen the association’s network and impact

Profile

We’re not looking for a “unicorn.” If you can confidently take on several of these responsibilities—and you’re willing to learn the rest—we’d love to hear from you.
• Experienced in strategic relationship building, business development, and account management, with expertise in member acquisition, retention, and value communication.
• Skilled in market analysis, event coordination, and cross-functional collaboration, leveraging strong communication and digital fluency to drive engagement and growth.
• Demonstrating respect, transparency, reliability, flexibility, and a commitment to excellence and cooperation in all interactions.
• Comfortable using CRM systems, digital marketing tools, and community platforms to manage relationships and drive engagement.
• Open to travel in Belgium

Languages Professional proficiency in Dutch and French, and good command of English.
