THE SCOPE

As part of its sustained growth, Gaming1 is looking for a Product Manager to join its Sportsbetting team.

The Sports Betting Product Manager is responsible for leading the discovery, development, and optimization of sports wagering products and features that deliver a seamless betting experience to players and measurable impact for the business.

They are accountable for identifying the highest-impact bettor needs and sportsbook performance gaps, translating them into clear product outcomes, and guiding cross-functional teams through discovery and delivery to achieve those outcomes. The Product Manager ensures that decisions regarding markets, features, and betting journeys are grounded in bettor insight, sports data, experimentation, and continuous learning.

Acting as the voice of the sports fan and bettor, the Product Manager champions a customer-centric, results-focused product approach, balancing user experience (UX), trading requirements, technical constraints, and gambling regulations. Through close collaboration with engineering, design, data, and trading/operations stakeholders, they ensure solutions are delivered as intended and continuously improved to maximize long-term handle and retention.

YOUR ROLE

• Contribute actively to the sports betting strategy by leveraging bettor insights, wagering performance data, and sportsbook benchmarking
• Identify, frame, and prioritize the most impactful friction points in the betting journey across the end-to-end user experience.
• Continuously analyze sports fan behaviors, market trends, competitor odds/features, and relevant gambling regulatory constraints to inform product decisions.
• Lead structured discovery initiatives for betting features, including problem definition, hypothesis formulation, and validation to ensure solutions address real bettor needs
• Champion a strong focus on user experience, simplicity, trust, and long-term value across all discovery activities.
• Own and prioritize the sportsbook product backlog, ensuring initiatives are clearly defined, outcome-focused, and aligned with seasonal sports calendars
• Translate validated problems into clear product requirements and success criteria that guide delivery teams.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, Data, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions in an iterative manner.
• Balance scope, speed, quality, and risk, making informed trade-offs throughout the delivery process.
  
  

• Ensure alignment with broader planning cycles, dependencies, delivery processes and major sporting events to drive effective execution.
• Define clear success metrics for Sports Betting product initiatives and ensure solutions are properly instrumented for measurement.
• Monitor product performance using quantitative and qualitative insights, assessing adoption, impact, and user outcomes.
• Drive experimentation and learning to validate assumptions and continuously improve the product experience.
• Translate wagering insights into actionable recommendations and prioritization decisions for stakeholders.

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for a customer-obsessed and data-driven Product Manager to shape and grow best-in-class sports betting experiences in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.

You:

• Have 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager, ideally in Sports Betting, iGaming, or another regulated digital industry
• Bring a strong product discovery mindset, able to identify high-impact bettor needs and turn insights into clear product outcomes
• Are passionate about sports, betting journeys, and user experience, with a sharp eye for friction, simplicity, and trust
• Use data, experimentation, and learning loops to drive prioritization, validate assumptions, and optimize performance
• Are comfortable owning and prioritizing a sportsbook product backlog, aligned with live sports calendars and major events
• Collaborate seamlessly with Engineering, Design, Data, and Trading/Operations to deliver high-quality, iterative solutions
• Balance business impact, user value, technical constraints, and regulatory requirements in your decision-making
• Thrive in dynamic, live-sports environments, managing ambiguity, trade-offs, and fast execution
• Communicate clearly and confidently with diverse stakeholders
• Are fluent in English
