Full-Stack PHP Developer
Role Overview
We are looking for a Full-Stack PHP Developer to join a multidisciplinary team responsible for the development, maintenance, and evolution of an application used to manage evidence and case-related items.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse technical requirements and translate business needs into solutions.
- Develop and maintain new features using PHP and JavaScript.
- Perform corrective and evolutionary maintenance.
- Write and execute unit and integration tests.
- Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement of software quality.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues.
- Maintain technical documentation and deployment documentation.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and project meetings.
- Follow security, architecture, development, and confidentiality standards.
Requirements
- Strong experience with PHP 7.4+, JavaScript, and AngularJS.
- Experience with CodeIgniter 3 and Smarty.
- Knowledge of InterSystems Caché / IRIS and SQL.
- Experience with object-oriented development and Agile (Scrum/Kanban).
- Good knowledge of development best practices.
- Experience with Git, GitLab/GitHub, Postman, Visual Studio Code, and DBeaver.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Languages: Dutch, French, and English.
Assignment
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: Until 31 December 2026, with possible extension
- Workload: Full-time, 40 hours/week
- Location: Brussels
- Working arrangement: Hybrid, with at least 2 days/week on-site in agreement with the team
