SAP MM Consultant

As a Solution Analyst with a focus on SAP Logistics, you will be a key player in our SAP Service Center. This role is a replacement for an Internal team member and is crucial for both the stability of our current systems and the development of future solutions.

Your primary focus will be on the logistics modules, with a strong emphasis on Procurement (MM) and indirect purchasing. You will be involved in both "run" (support) and "build" (project) activities. The role will initially be weighted towards support (approximately 80%) to allow you to get acquainted with our systems. Within 1-3 months, the expectation is to evolve to a 50/50 split between support and project work.

This is a functional analyst role. While you will not be doing development work yourself, you must be able to write clear and detailed functional specifications for our developers.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze the root cause of incidents and issues, providing both  short-term workarounds and sustainable long-term solutions.
• Analyze and document functional and non-functional requirements,  including fit/gap analyses.
• Write functional specifications for SAP solutions and collaborate  with developers for implementation.
• Configure SAP solutions where required.
• Define test scenarios and execute functional testing.
• Develop training materials and provide training to end-users and  key users.
• Build and share knowledge within the SAP Service Center.
• Provide operational support during User Acceptance Testing (UAT)  and system implementations.
• Perform daily checks and monitoring activities.
• Participate in an on-call rotation (approximately one week every  six weeks). This is not considered a heavy on-call duty.

Required SAP Knowledge:

• We are looking for a consultant with a strong foundation in SAP  logistics.
• Core Expertise:
• SAP MM: Deep knowledge of procurement and purchasing processes is  essential.
• Highly Valued Experience (Nice to Have):
• SAP SD: Experience with Sales & Distribution is beneficial, but not  a primary requirement for this role.
• SAP EWM & IBP: Knowledge of Extended Warehouse Management and  Integrated Business Planning is a plus, but not mandatory.
• SAP DataSphere & Digital Manufacturing: Any experience with these  newer products would be fantastic, but is not a requirement.

Practical Information:

• Team: You will be joining a team of four internal consultants in  Belgium and two in India.
• On-site Presence: We have a team day in Halle on Mondays. An  additional on-site day may be required depending on project  assignments (e.g., Wednesdays for Project Fox).
• Languages: Professional proficiency in both Dutch and English is  required.
• Collaboration: You will be working in a multi-vendor environment,  including collaboration with partners like Delaware on specific  projects.
