About the Role

RELYzIT Talent is seeking a driven Application Developer to join our client’s agile team in Brussels for a 4-month freelance assignment. You’ll play a pivotal role in accelerating the development of a mission-critical internal web application for the Directorate-General for Persons with Disabilities. This platform empowers citizens to manage and appeal decisions, impacting real lives and ensuring access to justice. As a builder, your expertise will directly shape a solution that streamlines complex legal and administrative processes.

With a tight timeline to completion, your contribution will be vital in delivering a robust, user-centric platform that manages hearings, legal appointments, documentation, and judgments. Your work will ensure that the system is reliable, scalable, and ready to serve thousands of users by year-end.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Collaborating within a small, agile team to accelerate the delivery of a complex web application
• Translating detailed functional analyses (provided in French) into technical solutions within the established .NET framework
• Developing, testing, and refining application features using .NET Core, ASP.NET, C#, and related technologies
• Building responsive, accessible user interfaces with Bootstrap 5, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery
• Integrating and consuming RESTful web services
• Managing and querying data using Microsoft SQL Server
• Utilizing SVN for version control and collaborative development
• Documenting your work clearly in your preferred language or in English
• Participating in Agile sprints, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Quickly ramping up on both the functional and technical aspects of the project to deliver immediate impact

• Partial remote work possible; on-site presence in Brussels required as needed
