As an Expert Project Manager, you will orchestrate complex, high-stakes projects that ensure seamless operations, robust security, and future-ready digital services. What You’ll Be Doing

• Initiate, coordinate, and monitor network projects within a hybrid ICT environment, spanning both office automation and operational technology (OT).
• Lead diverse projects, including application development, telephony, and remote control initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Drive application development projects leveraging PowerPlatform, Dynamics, SharePoint Online, and Azure Cloud technologies.
• Direct and coordinate migration of applications to SaaS and cloud environments, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum value.
• Oversee project budgets, scope, milestones, and timelines, providing transparent and regular reporting to stakeholders.
• Facilitate ongoing dialogue with internal ICT teams and external partners to ensure cohesive project execution.
• Organize working groups and customer meetings to capture needs, share best practices, and foster collaboration.
• Identify project risks and develop robust mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
• Operate primarily from client locations in Hasselt and Willebroek, with occasional travel to infrastructure sites across Flanders.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 8 years of proven experience managing complex application, infrastructure, and network projects in large-scale organizations.
• Expertise in leading multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Deep understanding of project management methodologies (Prince2, PMBOK, or equivalent), with the ability to transfer expert knowledge to teams.
• Hands-on experience with Agile and Scrum frameworks, driving iterative delivery and continuous improvement.
• Mastery of project management tools and techniques, including risk and issue management.
• Strong communication and coordination skills, with a talent for engaging diverse technical and functional stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver results in hybrid and dynamic environments.

Technical Skills & Tools

• Project Management Methodologies: Prince2, PMBOK, Agile, Scrum (Expert level)
• ITIL knowledge and experience (Preferred)
• Microsoft Stack: M365, MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel), SharePoint Online
• Azure Cloud and Azure DevOps (Added value)
• MS Project and other project management tools
• Risk and issue management tools

Language Proficiency

• Fluency in Dutch at European CEFR level C2 (Mandatory)

Other Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in similar environments to our client, ideally within public sector or infrastructure-focused organizations.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model, with flexibility for onsite presence in Hasselt, Willebroek, and across Flanders as needed.
• Proven track record of stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership.
