Intro

Join RELYzIT Talent as a Full Stack Web Developer for a high-impact, freelance assignment with our client, a leading force in public safety and digital transformation. You’ll be at the heart of a mission-critical project, shaping secure, scalable solutions that empower law enforcement to combat organized crime and drive international cooperation. This is your opportunity to build technology that truly matters.

Why This Role Matters

Our client is transforming how authentic police data is accessed and integrated, enabling smarter, faster, and more secure decision-making across cybercrime, terrorism, and organized crime investigations. As a Full Stack Web Developer, you’ll architect and deliver a modern service catalog and contribute to a next-generation Case Management System (CMS) — directly impacting operational efficiency, resource allocation, and international collaboration. Your work will help safeguard communities and support those on the front lines.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Analyze and understand legacy police data systems to propose robust technical integration solutions.
  • Design and implement a secure, service-oriented catalog for authentic police data sources, enabling seamless integration into dashboards, HR analytics, and CMS platforms.
  • Develop and encapsulate data sources using modern microservices and microfrontend architectures.
  • Contribute to the development of a new CMS platform leveraging microservices, micro frontends, and containerized, scalable infrastructure.
  • Build and maintain REST and gRPC APIs, ensuring secure and efficient data exchange.
  • Develop SPA web applications using Angular, Module Federation, and Microfrontend principles.
  • Integrate UX/UI designs into responsive, user-centric interfaces.
  • Implement unit and integration tests for both backend (.NET 8, C#) and frontend (Angular) components.
  • Model databases using a code-first approach with PostgreSQL and Entity Framework Core; manage migrations and connections.
  • Set up and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or Argo CD; manage source control with GIT, including branching, pull requests, and code reviews.
  • Deploy infrastructure as code (IaC) and support scalable, highly available deployments (Kubernetes experience is a plus).
  • Collaborate in an agile, Scrum-driven environment, adapting quickly to evolving project needs and technologies.

Technical Skills

  • Proven expertise in .NET 8 (C#) and Entity Framework Core for backend development and microservices implementation
  • Strong experience with Angular, Module Federation, NX, and RXJS for SPA and microfrontend development
  • Solid understanding of Clean Architecture, microservices, and microfrontend patterns
  • API design and implementation: REST (required), gRPC, SignalR, RabbitMQ, Mass Transit
  • Database: PostgreSQL (required), PgLite and IndexedDB (nice to have)
  • Authentication: OpenID, OAuth (required), O365 (should have)
  • DevOps: GitLab, CI/CD, GIT, Terraform, Redis (required), Kubernetes (nice to have)
  • Testing: Unit and integration testing for both backend and frontend
  • Experience integrating UX/UI designs into web applications

Language Proficiency

  • Fluency in English (required)
  • Active knowledge of one national language (French or Dutch) and passive knowledge of the other is a strong asset

Other Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (minimum) with several years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in diverse, multidisciplinary teams
  • Agile mindset with hands-on experience in Scrum methodology
  • Adaptability to new technologies and changing project directions
  • Perseverance, solution orientation, and strong team spirit
  • Technical curiosity and creativity in problem-solving
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to integrate quickly into new environments
