We are looking for Junior Java Developers to support the evolution of our application landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance existing Java applications.
- Adapt applications to new technical standards and Social Security LTDS guidelines.
- Develop and integrate solutions using Spring Boot, Spring and Hibernate.
- Work with existing applications built using GWT.
- Manage application builds and dependencies using Gradle.
- Work with DB2 and PostgreSQL databases, including data access and SQL-based development.
- Collaborate with the team to analyse existing applications and implement required changes.
- Ensure application quality, maintainability and compatibility with evolving standards.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 2+ years of professional Java development experience.
- Strong knowledge of Java.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Spring / Spring Boot
- Hibernate
- Gradle
- GWT
- Good understanding of DB2 and PostgreSQL relational databases.
- Ability to understand and modify existing Java applications.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Social Security and Fedris in particular is an asset.
