Front End Engineer, expert level

• A modernisation process has been started within the Client, translated into the eDossier programme

• One of the profiles we are looking for is a Lead Front End Developer/Engineer, level expert (+10 years of experience, obligatory), specialization in Angular 2+ and with a thorough knowledge of RUST. The development of websites is not considered relevant
• experience, the development of web portals or webshops is. If you are a full-stack developer, then you have carried out
• At least 6 years of full-time front end development in the last 10 years (mandatory).

• Preferably a degree in computer science higher education short or long type, obtained at a recognized college or university within the European Union (diploma must then be present together with CV within pro unity platform),

• Hands on experience with unlocking/consuming APIs in front end, 10 years,
• Hands on experience leading/managing a front end development team, 5 years,
• Hands on experience with cloud native front end application development, 5 years,
• Hands on experience with Angular 2+ framework, 5 years,
• Hands on experience with desktop application development, 1 year,
• Hands on experience with Rust as a programming language, 1 year,
• Hands on experience with defining and developing APIs, 5 years,
• Hands on experience with developing web portals based on web portal technology or via angular 2+ framework, 5 years,
• Hands on experience as a front end architect (design and architecture front end solution), 5 years,
• Hands on experience with development and optimization of library components of a Design System, 5 years,
• Hands on experience with implementing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, preferably within Azure DevOps, 3 years,
• Hands on experience with working (together) within agile delivery teams, 5 years,

• Knowledge of Event Driven and/or Behavioral Driven Development is an added value,
• Knowledge of Domain Driven Design is an added value,
• Knowledge of already existing building blocks and services within the federal government context is an added value,

Tasks

• As a lead front end engineer, you determine the front end architecture and technical course in collaboration with our architectural team. You will design scalable, maintainable and secure front end architecture (e.g. components, state management, build pipelines) and select the right technologies and standards for the long term,
• As a lead front end engineer you will take on the technical leadership and mentorship. You will guide other front-end developers (both during onboarding and towards their further development/growth), you will perform qualitative code reviews and monitor best
• practices,- As a lead front-end engineer,
• you will take on the bridging function with other stakeholders and work closely with ux architects and solution engineers, among others, to achieve efficiency, Develop performant and feasible solutions and bring them to production,
  • As an experienced front-end Engineer/developer with expertise in the Angular framework and extensive experience in integrating RESTful services, you are passionate about building modern and scalable web applications. Your skills will enable you
• to design and develop seamless, modern and responsive user interfaces, leveraging the power of Angular 2+ and the capabilities

• As an experienced front end engineer, you will be able to develop and maintain desktop applications, using the Rust programming language
• You are able to communicate and collaborate efficiently with other team members, to streamline the integration of microservices in the front-end and ensure a seamless user experience,
• You are skilled in translating wireframes and prototypes into well-structured, semantic and reusable code. You are well-versed in
• implementing the latest frontend technologies and best practices, taking into account the capabilities and limitations of the different browsers and devices,
• You are familiar with best practices for structuring code and optimizing the frontend architecture for a better user experience.
• You are well-versed in defining and implementing APIs, processing data flows and managing state in the application,
• You constantly keep yourself up to date with the latest developments,
• Your strong analytical and problem-solving skills enable you to take on complex challenges and deliver efficient solutions,
