To strengthen our division Natural Resources we are currently looking for a passionate and driven Sales Representative for the Minerals & Metals sector.

Functieomschrijving

As a Sales Representative, you’ll be the driving force behind expanding SGS’s footprint in the Minerals & Metals sector. You’ll engage directly with clients, identify new business opportunities, and deliver tailored solutions that meet their operational and compliance needs. This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on sales execution, requiring resilience, curiosity, and a passion for results.

Key Responsibilities

Client Acquisition & Retention: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities across BENELUX and Germany. Build long-term relationships with clients in the commodities sector.
Solution Selling: Understand SGS’s service portfolio and craft compelling proposals that address client challenges in testing, inspection, and certification.
Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to position SGS as a trusted advisor.
Sales Strategy: Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute sales campaigns, pricing strategies, and client engagement plans.
Performance Tracking: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline development, and client feedback using CRM tools.

What You Bring

Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in industrial services, commodities, or TIC (Testing, Inspection, Certification) sectors
Strong communication skills in Dutch, French, and English
Ability to work independently and travel frequently for client meetings and industry events
A proactive mindset with a knack for uncovering client needs and translating them into actionable solutions
