SAP Functional Specialist

What will you do?

As a SAP Functional Specialist, you will be part of our applications team. From our office in Erembodegem (Aalst), you and your colleagues will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Working with various SAP modules and developing in-depth expertise in one or more modules.
• Customizing SAP solutions based on specific business needs.
• Working with SAP S/4HANA and other SAP versions.
• Understanding ABAP codes and user exits, without necessarily being a programmer.
• Setting up integrations with other systems.
• Analyzing business processes and translating them into SAP solutions.
• Gathering requirements and converting them into concrete SAP configurations.
• Managing end-to-end processes within the SAP environment.
• Collaborating with other IT systems and applications within VPK.
• Working according to project methodologies.
• Defining and guiding test scenarios for User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Change management: implementing SAP solutions without disrupting operations.

Who are you?

As a SAP Functional Specialist, you have at least 5 years of experience in customizing/configuring SAP.

More specifically:

• Experience with SAP modules and customization, preferably in SD or WM.
• Knowledge of SAP integrations and a basic understanding of ABAP.
• Experience in process and business analysis.
• Familiarity with project methodologies such as Agile and Scrum, or others.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• A proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
