We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join a dynamic production environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and automation-related malfunctions on production lines. This includes performing preventive and corrective maintenance, optimizing equipment performance, and ensuring safe and efficient operation of all systems.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Electromechanics or equivalent through experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance (recommended)
  • English proficiency (B2 level)
  • Willingness to work in two shifts or fixed night shift
  • Willingness to relocate to Belgium

Technical Expertise:

  • Troubleshooting and repairing electric motors, gearboxes, pumps, and rotating equipment
  • Detecting and resolving faults on conveyor systems
  • Performing lubrication tasks, oil changes, and mechanical adjustments
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings, mechanical schematics, and electrical diagrams
  • Diagnosing electrical faults (sensors, actuators, contactors, relays, frequency drives)
  • Locating and correcting PLC-related issues (Siemens / Allen-Bradley / Omron); programming skills are a strong plus
  • Performing basic automation tasks: parameter adjustments, I/O checks, calibration
  • Welding, fitting, and basic machining tasks (advantageous)
  • Documenting interventions in CMMS systems

Tools & Equipment

  • Multimeter, insulation meter, current clamp, oscilloscope
  • PLC software applications
  • Mechanical tools: spanners, grinders, bearing assembly/disassembly kits
  • Hydraulic and mechanical measuring instruments

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical, electrical, and automation maintenance on production installations
  • Diagnose faults and implement both short-term fixes and long-term solutions
  • Interpret technical drawings and documentation
  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on infrastructure and utilities
  • Propose and implement improvement projects
  • Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize reliability
  • Ensure compliance with safety, cleanliness, and quality standards
