Infrastructure Cybersecurity Project Manager – IAM specialization
Background
- Within the Security Department of Client, you will primarily manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) projects designed to strengthen the control of identities, authentications and authorisations on infrastructures, applications and cloud environments. The mission requires recent and demonstrable experience in implementing an IAM solution in a complex environment.
- You will join a team made up of cybersecurity experts, architects, infrastructure teams, security operations teams and external partners. You are responsible for the coordination and proper execution of security projects with a strong technical component, while ensuring alignment with business objectives, organizational constraints and regulatory requirements.
- The project manager will join the project management team of the Security Division directly under the supervision of the division manager. On a daily basis, he will work under the functional coordination of a program manager in charge of the overall management of the cybersecurity project portfolio.
Main missions

- Managing cybersecurity projects
- Ensure the complete management of the projects entrusted to you, from study to production.
- Define scope, objectives, schedule, resources, budgets, and deliverables.
- Identify, analyze and monitor project risks.
- Ensure reporting to governance bodies and sponsors.
- Organize and lead working meetings, steering committees and workshops with stakeholders.
- Contribute to IT infrastructure security projects
You will mainly work on IAM projects covering in particular:
- Scoping, selecting, deploying, and releasing IAM components.
- Identity and account lifecycle management: onboarding, mobility, role change, and offboard;
- Automated access provisioning and deprovisioning
- Defining roles and entitlements, and implementing the principles of least privilege and segregation of duties.
- Identity federation, single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, and passwordless authentication;
- access review and certification campaigns, traceability and compliance reporting;
- Integrating IAM with HR repositories, directories, applications, cloud environments, and infrastructure services.
- consideration of privileged accounts, technical accounts, and non-human identities, in coordination with PAM devices;
- Identity and entitlement migration, testing, change management, and user adoption.
- in addition, infrastructure security projects related to SASE, ZTNA, VPN, firewalls, secure networks and cloud environments.
- The projects entrusted may cover strategic studies, specifications and market consultations as well as operational deployments of security solutions.
Ensuring the coordination of stakeholders
- Work closely with infrastructure, networking, cloud, security, and vendor teams.
- Facilitate decision-making and the trade-off between business needs, technical constraints and security requirements.
- To ensure good coordination between the different actors involved in the projects.
- Support teams in the migration, testing, validation and production release phases.
- Contribute to operational security
- Depending on the department's priorities, the expert may be required to work on other themes of the security programme.
- What we are looking for above all
- We are primarily looking for an infrastructure security project manager who has recently led a concrete IAM implementation, preferably in a large organization or a hybrid environment. The candidate must be able to demonstrate his or her role, the results obtained, the difficulties encountered and the lessons learned.
- The ability to turn business and security needs into an actionable IAM roadmap, manage technical and organizational dependencies, and drive the solution through to adoption and operation is a must.
- Knowledge of other infrastructure security domains — PAM, PKI, HSM, SASE, networks, firewalls, VPNs, and cloud — will be seen as complementary to the expected IAM experience.
