Job Title: MDM Project Specialist
Location: Belgium, Europe (Onsite)
Contract Duration: 1 Year (Fixed-Term / Contract)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced MDM (Master Data Management) Project Specialist to support and deliver MDM initiatives for a 1-year onsite engagement in Belgium, Europe. The role focuses on managing master data projects, ensuring data quality, governance, and alignment with business and IT stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

Support and manage end-to-end MDM projects, including planning, execution, and delivery

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document master data requirements

Coordinate with IT, data governance, and functional teams to implement MDM solutions

Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with governance standards

Define and maintain master data models, hierarchies, and business rules
-
Support data migration, data cleansing, and validation activities
-
Monitor project progress, risks, and dependencies; provide regular status updates

Assist in defining data governance processes, roles, and ownership

Support testing (UAT), deployment, and post-implementation activities

Document processes, workflows, and project deliverables
Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field

3–6 years of experience in MDM, data management, or data governance projects

Strong understanding of MDM concepts (Customer, Product, Vendor, or Material data)

Experience working with MDM tools/platforms (e.g., SAP MDG, Informatica MDM, Reltio, etc.)

Knowledge of data quality, data governance, and data lifecycle management
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Experience working in cross-functional and multicultural environments

Ability to work onsite in Belgium, Europe for the full contract duration
Nice to Have

Experience in SAP environments

Knowledge of GDPR and European data compliance standards

Project management experience or certification (Agile, PRINCE2, PMP)

Experience in manufacturing, retail, life sciences, or large enterprise environments
