Short Range Wireless Communication Standardization Expert

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Short Range Wireless Communication Standardization Expert to participate in global wireless connectivity standards.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Lead participation in SRWC standardization (Bluetooth SIG focus; plus Wi‑Fi, NFC, UWB) and deliver technical insight reports.
   
   
2. Drive innovative proposals in working groups and Task Group (Bluetooth SIG, Wi‑Fi, NFC, UWB) to strengthen corporate influence.
   
   
3. Monitor EU and global SRWC regulatory developments (spectrum, compliance, interoperability) and provide impact analyses and risk‑mitigation recommendations.
   
   
4. Build and manage strategic partnerships with chip vendors, OEMs, research institutes, and alliances; initiate joint projects and pilots.
   
   
5. Promote new SRWC technologies and use cases via workshops, liaisons, and joint whitepapers with SDOs and regulators.

Travelling:

International travel is needed

Competency Requirements:

1. Strong expertise in wireless communications (Bluetooth, Wi‑Fi, NFC, UWB; cellular is a plus).
   
   
2. Research experience in PHY/MAC layers with a solid publication record.
   
   
3. Proven track record in standardization, standards organization operations, and ecosystem development; SRWC experience preferred.
   
   
4. Ability to deliver technology insights and support strategic planning.
   
   
5. Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Communications, or related engineering field.
   
   
6. Comfortable working in a multicultural, international environment.
