- We are looking for a Microsoft 365 & Modern Workplace System Engineer to strengthen its Digital Workplace team.
- The Digital Workplace team is responsible for the implementation, operation and continuous improvement of workplace technologies and collaboration solutions used throughout the organization.
- The environment includes mobile devices, Microsoft 365 collaboration services, identity & authentication services and workplace management solutions.
- The consultant will contribute to the operational management and evolution of the Microsoft 365 environment, with a strong focus on Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, Exchange Online, Active Directory and endpoint management.
- The consultant will combine hands-on system administration, technical troubleshooting, implementation activities, automation and documentation, and will collaborate closely with infrastructure, security and application teams.
Main responsibilities
The consultant will be responsible for:
- Managing and supporting the Microsoft 365 Modern Workplace environment.
- Managing and configuring Microsoft Intune, including device compliance, configuration profiles, application deployment and endpoint security.
- Managing identities, users, groups and access within Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory.
- Supporting the administration and configuration of Exchange Online.
- Supporting endpoint provisioning and lifecycle management, including Windows Autopilot and Windows 11.
- Managing and troubleshooting Group Policies and Active Directory related configurations.
- Contributing to hybrid identity and hybrid workplace environments.
- Supporting security configurations within Microsoft 365, including MFA, Conditional Access and related identity security controls.
- Analysing and resolving complex incidents and technical issues related to Microsoft 365 and workplace technologies.
- Providing Level 2 and Level 3 technical support.
- Participating in the technical design and implementation of new workplace solutions and improvements.
- Automating repetitive administrative and operational activities using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API and/or other automation technologies.
- Supporting Microsoft 365 migrations and infrastructure changes.
- Producing and maintaining technical documentation, procedures and operational guidelines.
- Defining and promoting standard configurations and technical best practices.
- Collaborating with internal IT teams, security teams and external suppliers.
- Contributing to knowledge transfer within the Digital Workplace team.
