About the Role

RELYzIT Talent is seeking an Expert UI Designer for a high-impact, freelance assignment with our client in Brussels. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of business applications, ensuring every interface is intuitive, visually compelling, and accessible. Key Responsibilities

• Design visually engaging, consistent, and accessible user interfaces for web and business applications.
• Create high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes that bring user journeys to life.
• Ensure all interfaces meet WCAG accessibility standards and are fully responsive across devices.
• Translate wireframes and user flows into polished, development-ready UI assets.
• Develop, maintain, and evolve the Design System and UI standards, ensuring scalability and coherence.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, UX Designers, and development teams in an Agile environment.
• Participate in user testing, synthesize feedback, and iterate designs for optimal usability and impact.
• Integrate business and technical frameworks provided by management, enterprise architects, or business analysts into your visual solutions.
• Champion best practices in UI hand-off, ensuring seamless collaboration with developers.

Technical Skills & Tools

• Expert proficiency in Figma (mandatory) for UI design, prototyping, and collaboration.
• Expertise with ZeroHeight for documentation and Design System management.
• Strong command of composition, color theory, visual hierarchy, and modern design principles.
• Experience creating and maintaining style guides, typographies, iconographies, and UI kits.
• Ability to translate complex concepts and functional journeys into clear, user-centered interfaces.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and working in sprints.
• Experience in UI Design for web or business applications (confirmed track record required).
• Skills or sensitivity in UX Design (user research, wireframing) are a major asset.

Language Proficiency

• Professional proficiency in English is required.
• Additional language skills (French or Dutch) are a plus, but not mandatory.

Other Requirements

• This is a freelance position with a 3-month project duration, based in Brussels, Belgium (partial remote possible).
• Availability to present your portfolio, prototypes, and design methodology during the interview process.
• Eligibility to work in Belgium for the duration of the project.
