Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Assist tender teams, project and operational teams, and contribute to the development of lifting standards, calculation tools, templates, and procedures.
- Ensure robust engineering practices are applied from project preparation through execution.
- Produce design calculations and drawings for engineered lifting operations, while monitoring budget and schedule compliance.
- Deliver training and share expertise within the company.
- Conduct critical reviews to maintain high-quality engineering output.
- Evaluate designs, drawings, and reports produced by external engineering firms.
- Liaise with suppliers to clarify equipment specifications and incorporate relevant insights into company standards.
- Provide technical advice and on-site support during mobilization and execution phases.
- Carry out regular site visits for audits, incident investigations, operational team support, and preparation or execution of critical lifts.
- Create and maintain in-house calculation tools, guidelines, and up-to-date standards, norms, and procedures.
- MSc in Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering
- Strong knowledge of heavy lifting projects
- Knowledge on CAD
- Fluent in English
