Your Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Review and assess "ready to schedule" job packages provided by technical engineers.
- Create integrated schedules, assigning appropriate skills, resources, and other requirements.
- Manage the stage gate preparation process and create schedules for Technical Supervisors involved in the Fleet Intervention project.
- Track daily progress during project execution and report on actions to expedite tasks.
- Ensure timely project initiation by coordinating safety inspections, site arrivals, and tool readiness.
- Take charge of small repair tasks in the absence of the project manager and collaborate with technical supervisors.
- Project preparation is done at headquarters, with execution phases occurring abroad (the approximate ratio of preparation to execution is 3:1).
Your Profile/Requirements:
- A technical background on vessels and/or ship yards, and have hands-on experience with scheduling a project day to day.
- Effective team player with strong communication and reporting abilities.
- Skilled in planning tools like Primavera and Microsoft Project (willing to learn on the job).
- Solid technical background in ship repair and conversion.
- Proactive attitude with excellent analytical and planning skills.
- Ability to gather and consolidate information from diverse sources.
- Demonstrates good leadership capabilities.
- Adept at fostering relationships with vessels, management teams, and subcontractors.
Location: Belgium (relocation is mandatory)
