About MyMove

MyMove develops a SaaS platform enabling organisations to manage shared mobility fleets — cars, vans and bikes.

The platform combines a mobile application, a web administration portal, connected vehicles and integrations with external partners to provide a complete fleet sharing solution. It is used daily by thousands of end users across multiple customer environments.

We are now looking for a Product & Technical Lead to take full ownership of the product and technical direction of MyMove — a key hire as we enter an exciting new chapter following our acquisition by a mid-size technology company.

The Role

This is a key position within the company.

You will be responsible for ensuring that MyMove continues to evolve in the right direction, balancing customer needs, product vision and technical sustainability.

The role combines product management, software architecture and hands-on software engineering. You will work closely with management, customer success and the tools and services that power our platform to deliver new features, improve the platform and solve complex technical challenges.

This is not a people management role. We are looking for someone who leads through ownership, technical expertise and decision making — stepping in as the reference person for everything product and tech at MyMove.

What You’ll Do

🗺️ Drive the Product

Own the day-to-day evolution of the platform:

• Understand customer needs and operational challenges

• Challenge feature requests and propose pragmatic solutions

• Define functional specifications and validate implementations

• Prioritise work based on customer value and business impact

• Balance new features, maintenance and technical improvements

• Help shape the long-term product roadmap

🏗️ Provide Technical Leadership

Own the technical coherence of the platform:

• Define architecture and technical direction

• Review technical proposals and major implementations

• Maintain high standards for code quality and maintainability

• Make architectural decisions when trade-offs are required

• Identify technical debt and define improvement plans

💻 Stay Close to the Code

Although this is a leadership role, you will remain an active software engineer. Depending on priorities, you’ll contribute to:

• Backend and frontend development

• Mobile application development

• Code reviews and refactoring

• Investigation of production issues

• Design and implementation of new features

🔥 Own Complex Technical Issues

When something difficult happens, you are the person people turn to — investigating production incidents, analysing root causes, coordinating fixes and ensuring appropriate long-term improvements.

🚀 Understand the Mobility Business

Building a fleet sharing platform goes far beyond software development. You’ll progressively become familiar with:

• Fleet operations and vehicle booking workflows

• Connected vehicles and telematics

• Identity and access management

• Payment flows and mobility budgets

• White-label deployments

• Operational constraints faced by fleet managers

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership and working across both product and engineering. You don’t need to know everything on day one — but you should be comfortable learning quickly and making decisions in complex environments.

✅ Experience & Skills

• Minimum 3 years of experience building modern SaaS applications

• Strong backend development experience

• Experience designing software architecture

• A good understanding of frontend development

• Experience working with mobile applications (a plus)

• Strong SQL and API design skills

• Experience translating business needs into technical solutions

We’re more interested in your ability to understand systems and solve problems than in experience with every technology listed above.

💰 Compensation & Benefits

Total package : 75 000 – 85 000€/year

On top of that:

Work setup: Hybrid — minimum 2 days on-site per week, based in central Brussels

What Success Looks Like

After a few months, you will:

• ✅ Own the product backlog and technical roadmap

• ✅ Contribute directly to the codebase

• ✅ Help ensure the platform continues to scale as the business grows
