Description:

  • We are looking for a broadly deployable information management professional to support the Information Management team in projects and change processes related to data governance, information management and digital collaboration. The professional takes on a leading and coordinating role in strategic projects, including the further development of the DataHub and data governance and the implementation of the AI strategy. In doing so, the professional identifies needs and stakeholders, translates them into a feasible approach, monitors progress and ensures coordination between policy, business and technical partners.

  • In addition, the professional guides employees and teams in responsible data use and sustainable information management. The assignment includes developing and providing practice-oriented training and awareness-raising initiatives, including on data storytelling, Power BI, data quality and correct data management. The professional is also responsible for the substantive and organizational coordination of Inforum: developing the program, coordinating speakers and stakeholders, following up on the practical organization and ensuring coherent communication

  • We are looking for someone who can switch smoothly between strategy and execution, can take on projects independently, can connect people and can translate complex themes to the organization in a clear and accessible way.

Technical context:

  • The assignment is situated within a Microsoft 365-based digital work environment and an organization-wide context of information and data governance. The professional works at the intersection of processes, information, data, technology and user adoption. Important environments and themes are SharePoint and Teams for digital collaboration and information management, Power BI for reporting and data storytelling, the DataHub as a data catalogue for accessing and managing data, and applications of artificial intelligence within a responsible governance framework.

  • The professional does not need to take on an in-depth developer role, but they do have sufficient technical understanding to analyze functional needs, understand data flows and dependencies, formulate quality and governance requirements, and work constructively with data owners, information managers, architects, and analysts. Knowledge of data governance, metadata, data quality, roles and responsibilities, access management, information classification and responsible AI use is relevant in this regard. Experience with project and change management, stakeholder management and guiding users in a digital working environment is necessary to sustainably embed technical and organizational developments.
