The SharePoint Engineer contributes to the implementation, evolution and optimization of Microsoft 365 platforms, including SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, Microsoft Purview and SharePoint Premium.
The SharePoint Engineer independently designs, develops, implements, and industrializes Microsoft 365 solutions centered on SharePoint, Power Platform, Microsoft Purview, and SharePoint Premium. Leveraging their technical expertise, they translate business needs into concrete solutions, configure the necessary components, implement complex workflows, document classification mechanisms, OCR solutions, and AI-based automated processes, and then ensure their deployment, operation, and evolution.
The SharePoint Engineer has proven experience in large-scale document environments, ranging from several hundred thousand to several million documents. They also possess advanced expertise in document classification, workflow automation, OCR, and AI-powered automatic metadata enrichment.
In this role, he will be responsible for:
- Define and maintain the target SharePoint architecture , in accordance with company standards, business needs and document governance requirements.
- Design and deploy document architectures adapted to large volumes, integrating SharePoint with other technologies if necessary.
- Define, review and implement metadata models, taxonomies, content types and classification rules.
- Implement document governance , records management, archiving and retention strategies .
- Design and deploy automated business workflows with Power Automate and Microsoft 365 services.
- Prepare and supervise, with the Project Manager Document Management, the migrations to Microsoft 365 and SharePoint.
- Implement OCR solutions to automatically extract content from scanned documents, images, and forms.
- Leverage SharePoint Premium or other solutions to automate classification, metadata extraction, and content enrichment.
- Design intelligent document processing models to automatically identify, classify and extract key information.
- Automate document processes to reduce manual intervention.
- Apply security, compliance and confidentiality requirements to digital content.
- Contribute to the implementation of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Purview governance policies .
- To guarantee the quality, consistency and maintainability of the solutions implemented.
- Supporting users in adopting good practices for document management and digital collaboration.
- Ensure continuous monitoring of Microsoft 365, SharePoint, AI, Content Services and Information Management.
