Senior AI Architect

Mission Overview:

Keystone Solutions is seeking a Senior AI Architect for a consultancy mission at a client site. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing a strategic vision for artificial intelligence, ensuring its responsible use within the organization.

Main Responsibilities:

• You will serve as the technical reference for defining, designing, and evolving artificial intelligence architectures, playing a strategic role in the digital transformation of the organization.
• Collaborate closely with various partners to transform operational needs into robust and sustainable technical solutions.
• Design reference architectures for AI solutions, ensuring their seamless integration into the existing IT ecosystem while adhering to security, governance, compliance, performance, and maintainability requirements.
• Actively participate in the design, implementation, and evolution of the AI-Lab, which will serve as the reference platform for developing, experimenting, and deploying AI solutions.
• Define technical architectures for leveraging Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Large Language Models (LLM), generative AI, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), AI Agents, Computer Vision, Speech AI, and emerging technologies.
• Provide expertise on cloud, hybrid, and on-premise architectures, data platforms, MLOps pipelines, API-oriented architectures, event-driven architectures, containerized environments, and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in AI Engineering, MLOps, DevSecOps, and AI Governance, integrating cybersecurity, data protection, traceability, auditability, model risk management, and regulatory compliance into all proposed architectures.
• Collaborate with project managers to assess the technical feasibility of new initiatives, identify risks, and ensure alignment of developed solutions with the organization’s overall IT strategy.
• Maintain ongoing technological vigilance regarding developments in the AI market and evaluate new technologies that could add real value to the organization.

Profile Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in designing and developing software solutions, with at least 2 years in AI or Machine Learning architecture.
• Master's degree or equivalent in computer science, artificial intelligence, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience demonstrating comparable expertise. Non-traditional backgrounds (career changers, self-taught, open source) are welcome if you can demonstrate your impact.
• Proven experience in designing, industrializing, and deploying AI solutions in production environments, from needs analysis to operational deployment.
• Strong knowledge of modern AI technologies, including LLMs, generative AI, RAG, AI Agents, and principles of AI Engineering and MLOps.
• Experience in defining cloud or hybrid architectures, ideally within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, and integrating AI solutions within complex IT environments.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment and support technical teams in architectural choices and best practices.

Practical Information:

• Start Date: ASAP
• Work Regime: Full-time (40 hours/week)
• Work Location: Brussels
• Working Conditions: On-site presence at least 2 times a week depending on tasks and in agreement with the team, remote work allowed from home or at the employer's location (in Belgium).
• Team: Multidisciplinary, mix of internal and external collaborators.
