We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Auditor to join one of Belgium’s leading financial services companies. If you have a passion for auditing and are fluent in Dutch, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and high-performing team.
- Conduct Financial Audits: Ensure financial statements are accurate and compliant with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Review Financial Records: Examine financial records, reports, and statements for discrepancies, errors, or potential fraud.
- Evaluate Internal Controls: Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Audit Documentation: Prepare detailed reports outlining audit findings for senior management and stakeholders.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with various teams to gather necessary information and offer valuable insights based on audit findings.
- Stay Informed: Keep up to date with the latest developments in auditing standards, financial regulations, and best practices within the industry
Requirements
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in financial auditing, preferably within the financial services sector.
- Educational Background: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications like CPA, ACCA are highly preferred.
- Language Skills: Fluency in Dutch is essential. Proficiency in English is also required.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with auditing software and financial analysis tools.
- Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, and excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
