Test Engineer Performance and Automation Consultant

Mission Overview:

The client is seeking a Test Engineer Performance & Automation for a consultancy mission through Keystone Solutions. As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will represent our company on-site at the client, contributing your expertise to their digital transformation projects.

Responsibilities:

• Own quality end-to-end: From the first line of code to final deployment, you guard the standards—ensuring every feature meets the mark before it reaches the client’s users.
• Design smarter tests: Shape test plans, define scope and priorities to catch what matters most.
• Automate with purpose: Write scripts in Java (Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber) to free the team from repetitive work and speed up delivery.
• Turn data into action: Share test results clearly so the team can act fast.
• Solve, don’t just spot, issues: Dig deeper when you find bugs or bottlenecks, fixing or flagging them with precision.
• Bridge testing and development: Work side by side with developers to help prioritize what to automate next.
• Keep CI/CD running smooth: Integrate automation into the pipeline for faster builds.
• Master the environments: Debug scripts and apps in staging, production, or other environments until they run flawlessly.
• Build frameworks that last: Design scalable, reliable systems for automated testing.
• Document like a pro: Maintain clear documentation for processes and results.
• Stay sharp with ISTQB: Apply industry-standard rigor to all testing activities.

Requirements:

• At least 6 years of relevant experience in test automation.
• Mandatory technical skills: Selenium-Java, BDD frameworks (Cucumber/Gherkin), Git, Jenkins, Maven, TestNG.
• Ability to create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data for both functional and non-functional testing; for real and virtual devices.
• Experience executing automated tests, analyzing results, and reporting defects with detailed logs and steps for replication.
• Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Work with development teams to identify areas for automation and prioritize test cases.
• Debug and troubleshoot automation scripts and applications in various environments.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and effectiveness of automated test frameworks and tools.
• Maintain documentation for test automation frameworks, processes, and results.
• Knowledge of software testing standards (ISTQB).
• Nice to have: Experience with Perfecto, API Automation.
• Preferable: Practical experience with Scrum in agile environments.
• Sound knowledge of English; knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus.
• Bachelor/Master or equivalent by experience.
