Role

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Officer to strengthen the Quality of Supply (QoS) team within the technical expertise department EPS (High Voltage Primary Systems). The QoS team monitors the quality of the full scope of deliveries (equipment and associated technical documentation/data) and further expands the Quality Management framework, processes and governance.

The consultant is responsible for:

Developing a Quality Management framework (processes, tools, guidelines), coordinating within Client Group and coordinating the implementation, in close collaboration with the QoS Team Lead
External quality assurance: factory qualifications, quality control during production and testing, coordination of factory testing (FAT/SAT), non-conformity management
Internal quality assurance: processes with roles and responsibilities, document transparency, factory performance evaluations, KPI follow-up and reporting
Organize, publish and archive technical documents/data in tools such as eDoc, HyperTree, SharePoint, InfraRef, LegoNet
Mapping, compiling and archiving internal processes (flowcharts, swimlane diagrams, PACI tables, SIPOC models, BPMN)

Required experience and skills

Technical or engineering education and/or equivalent experience
Experience with quality management systems and supplier follow-up
Experience in mapping and setting up business processes
Knowledge of high-voltage/primary system equipment is an asset
Open and curious attitude, affinity with quality/process-based topics
Ability to work independently and proactively, structured and with an eye for technical detail
Willing to visit ETB installations in Belgium and suppliers (mainly in Europe)
Good knowledge of English required (technical documentation, communication with suppliers); knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a strong asset
