As the technical and operational lead on site, you will ensure that every detail — from structural integrity to advanced building systems — is executed to the highest standard. What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead the technical and operational oversight of the office refurbishment project from preparation to final handover.
• Act as the client’s technical representative on site, coordinating with general contractors, subcontractors, and specialist teams.
• Monitor the progress and quality of works, ensuring alignment with plans, specifications, and project decisions.
• Participate in site meetings, driving coordination and resolving technical or scheduling challenges as they arise.
• Analyze and interpret construction and execution plans, ensuring all modifications are accurately tracked and implemented.
• Verify the integration and coordination of architecture, construction, and special systems (HVAC, electrical, fire safety, access control, IT infrastructure).
• Oversee demolition, construction, interior finishes, and the seamless integration of systems into new layouts.
• Assess and manage changes, additional works, and their impact on project costs and timelines.
• Participate in provisional and final handovers, ensuring all deficiencies are addressed and technical documentation is complete.
• Champion a solution-focused, field-driven approach, challenging contractors and ensuring the highest standards of delivery.

Technical Skills & Experience

• Minimum graduate/bachelor’s degree in construction or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in site monitoring and coordination, ideally from the client side, engineering firm, or project/construction management company.
• Advanced experience in office renovation, conversion, or refurbishment projects.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction and execution plans.
• Broad (non-expert) practical knowledge of special systems, including:
  • HVAC / heating / ventilation / air conditioning
  • Electricity and lighting
  • Fire detection and protection
  • Access control / badge systems
  • Intrusion and security
  • Cabling and technical/IT infrastructure
• Hands-on experience on construction sites, with a strong technical and field-oriented profile.
• Experience challenging contractors and ensuring compliance with technical standards.

Language Proficiency

• Professional proficiency in English is required.
• Knowledge of French or Dutch is a strong asset for on-site coordination.

• Ability to work on-site in Brussels for the duration of the project (remote work is not available).
• Immediate availability is a plus.
