About the Role

RELYzIT Talent is seeking a Senior ICT Project Manager Sharepoint for a high-impact, freelance assignment with our client in Brussels. This is a 14-month project where you will lead the deployment and optimization of SharePoint and Microsoft 365 solutions, directly shaping how a major federal agency collaborates, shares knowledge, and delivers on its mission. You’ll step into a pivotal role, continuing and elevating the work already underway, and ensuring the seamless migration and adoption of a new, agency-wide intranet and collaborative platform.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Take full ownership of SharePoint and Microsoft 365 project objectives, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
• Lead the migration to SharePoint and the rollout of a new intranet, acting as the primary point of contact for all project activities.
• Engage and manage diverse stakeholders across business departments and operational centers, building trust and alignment.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, escalating when necessary with clarity and precision.
• Develop a deep understanding of the client’s organizational needs, culture, and expectations to tailor solutions that fit.
• Prepare and deliver impactful presentations, facilitating decision-making and buy-in from key stakeholders.
• Support and coach operational teams during training sessions, ensuring smooth adoption and maximizing user engagement.
• Champion project values of quality, transparency, auditability, and cost-effectiveness at every stage.
• Work hands-on, diving into technical and operational details when required to unblock progress and drive results.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as an ICT Project Manager, with a strong track record in delivering SharePoint and Microsoft 365 solutions.
• Expertise in change management, with the ability to guide organizations through complex digital transformations.
• Exceptional communication skills, able to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders with clarity and empathy.
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate workshops, deliver training, and drive user adoption in diverse environments.
• Builder mindset: proactive, hands-on, and relentlessly focused on outcomes and impact.
• Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and a passion for solving real business problems.
• Experience working in or with public sector organizations is a plus.

Technical Skills & Tools

• SharePoint (migration, configuration, and administration)
• Microsoft 365 (including Teams, OneDrive, and related collaboration tools)
• Change Management methodologies
• Workshop facilitation and training delivery
• Project management best practices (Agile/Scrum or similar frameworks)
• Stakeholder management and communication

Language Proficiency

• Professional proficiency in English is required.
• Knowledge of French and/or Dutch is highly valued and will be considered a strong asset.

Other Requirements

• Availability for a 14-month freelance assignment, with partial on-site presence in Brussels.
• Eligibility to work in Belgium.
• Immediate or near-immediate start preferred.
