European Satellite Workshop & Operations Supervisor
As a European Satellite Workshop & Operations Supervisor, you will lead the daily operations of a technical workshop specializing in turbo machinery and rotating equipment. You will manage people, workflows, quality, safety, and continuous improvement while ensuring efficient workshop performance and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate daily workshop operations.
- Supervise and develop workshop employees.
- Manage planning, workflow, and operational performance.
- Ensure quality, safety, and MES compliance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance and process optimization.
- Resolve technical and operational issues.
- Support inspection, repair, testing, and maintenance activities.
- Manage customer, supplier, and stakeholder relationships.
- Assist with budget planning and cost optimization.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience with turbo machinery or rotating equipment.
- Technical degree or apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience with steam turbines and compressors.
- Leadership experience in a workshop or service environment.
- Knowledge of inspection, repair, and maintenance processes.
- Experience with workshop equipment and service infrastructure.
- Proficient with SAP and Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on, customer-focused, and independent mindset.
- Fluent in Dutch and English (German is a plus).
- EU passport required.
- Valid driver's license (Category B).
