Responsibilities of the role:

• Operating a 2-axis lathe (Gildemeister CTX400 S2)
• Independently programming the machine using Heidenhain Turn Plus or ISO controls
• Producing single pieces and small series (up to a maximum of 100 units), requiring the programming of multiple different parts per day
• Occasionally finishing pre-programmed series on one of our MAZAK lathes

Machine brands:

• For three milling machines (to be operated together with my master guest):
• 3-axis MAS MCV1000
• 4-axis HERMLE UWF 1202 H
• 4-axis TOS FS80
• All machines can be programmed independently on the machine in control Heidenhain 426
• Pieces and small series up to 100 pieces, so several different pieces per day to program

Background/experience:

Experience with CAD-CAM software such as Hypermill or TopSolid is a plus, but not required

Minimum of 3 years relevant experience, so they are immediately employable.

The ability to independently program your own work is essential for this role.

It's a big plus if you are skilled in both milling and turning.
