Service Description:
- As a Business Analyst at TDI, you will play a key role in the digital transformation of the Assets department. Client has set out strong improvements in efficiency and quality. In addition, we must support the energy transition, the increase in renewable energy and the nuclear phase-out. To achieve Client's objectives, we need to make our activities and support our people more digital. In addition, we need to harmonise our processes between Client and our German sister company 50Hz.
- The Assets department is mainly responsible for the maintenance of the high-voltage electrical grid and the commissioning of grid expansions. Safety, quality and efficiency are our core values.
- The business analyst is responsible for setting up efficient business processes. In addition, you capture the business needs and translate them into specifications for IT systems. You will bridge the gap between the business and the users on the one hand and the various IT partners (functional analyst, project leader, architect, etc.) on the other, challenging all parties. The goal is to develop and maintain the necessary IT tools to support the business processes optimally and pragmatically.
We are looking for several business analysts to support our digitalization projects:
- Digitizing and optimizing the planning of cuts (temporarily decommissioning parts of the network for maintenance). Due to the risks to security of supply and the complexity of renewable energy, planning cuts is becoming increasingly difficult and a crucial step in the maintenance process.
- Digitizing and automating switching (decommissioning / commissioning parts of the network). Switching elements of the high-voltage grid is a complex activity with high risks, which means that many controls are built into the processes and they are heavy. Digitization allows us to make these activities faster and safer.
- Improving the processes regarding operational safety of our technicians and the supporting ICT applications. A high-voltage grid is an extremely dangerous environment for technicians. The goal is to increase the safety of our people and at the same time make the activities run more efficiently, including through automation and digitization of certain activities / steps.
- To support the offshore wind farms, Client needs to maintain more and more infrastructure at sea. There are a number of specific needs linked to this, for which we have to provide the necessary business processes and supporting ICT applications.
- Improving the administrative support of our operational services (both the people in the field and the experts in the administrative centres) in their end-to-end operation. The goal is to develop efficient administrative processes, which can be implemented as standard as possible in SAP. Within Assets, we mainly use the Plant Maintenance (SAP PM) module.
