Your role
- As System Architect for the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), you are responsible for designing and evolving an end-to-end, seamless ecosystem of tools and processes that supports everyone involved in software delivery. A chance to make a lot of IT people’s lives easier.
- From functional and technical analysis, over data modelling and development, to testing, deployment and release, you ensure that all steps in the lifecycle are integrated, automated, and user-centric.
- You remove friction, simplify complexity, and enable engineers and analysts to focus on value creation instead of administrative overhead.
Your key responsibilities
- Design and own the target architecture for SDLC tooling (e.g. Confluence, data modeling and architecture tools, CI/CD, ...), together with the owners of the tools.
- Bridge the gap between SDLC process managers and tooling owners (software factories etc.)
- Ensure end-to-end integration across lifecycle stages.
- Drive standardization and reuse of patterns.
- Eliminate manual evidence logging through automation.
- Enable traceability and compliance by design.
- Introduce AI for automation of steps, fast user feedback, documentation, etc.
- Improve developer experience and user adoption.
Your profile
- Strong experience in system/solution architecture.
- Deep understanding of SDLC and DevOps practices.
- Experience with development tooling and CI/CD
- Interest in AI-driven automation.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
What makes this role unique
- You shape the future SDLC landscape in a large-scale IT organization. You directly impact efficiency, developer experience, and compliance, at the intersection of technology, process excellence, risk governance, and AI innovation.
