The Platform Architect is responsible for defining, evolving, and maintaining the consistency of the company's network and security architectures. They act as the technical and architectural expert on key initiatives, ensuring alignment with company standards, regulatory requirements (particularly NIS2), and IT transformation objectives.
The role combines technical expertise, strategic vision, project support, and technical leadership within the Network and Security team. It involves close interaction with Solution Architects and the Security Governance team.
Architecture and strategy
- Define the technological roadmap for network and security platforms.
- Develop and maintain reference architectures.
- Evaluate new technologies and propose development pathways.
- To contribute to the simplification and rationalization of the technological landscape.
Governance and compliance
- Ensure that architectures comply with security and resilience requirements.
- Participate in NIS2 initiatives and risk management programs.
- Define the standards, principles and best practices of architecture.
- Conduct architectural reviews and validate major technical designs.
Project support
- To assume the role of Architect or Technical Lead on strategic projects.
- Supporting solution architects and project managers in technical choices related to the domain
- Produce architectural documents (HLD, LLD, standards, design principles).
- Identify dependencies, risks and cross-cutting impacts.
