Mainframe Developer

• You will work in our agile Mainframe team, you will be as a software engineer mainframe responsible for the technical analysis, development, component testing, bug fixing and support of our mainframe/CICS application, which is used for managing insurance policies, claims and finance.

Tasks

• You work in close cooperation within the agile team to realize the best possible solution within every different context
• You interpret the requirements you receive and translate it into qualitative development, adhering to the predefined guidelines in terms of quality, best practices, budget and scope
• You develop software in Cobol V5 on IBM Z/OS mainframe
• You understand technical architecture and can re-use technical components
• You document the software you have developed
• You offer occasional third and second-line support.
• You want to actively contribute to the agile way of working at Client
• You can perform the required analytical work, technical implementation and quality assurance testing
