Mission Description:
- To ensure, manage, improve and maintain all aspects of database integration into the organization's internal and external IT and communication systems, in order to guarantee an efficient, continuous and scalable information and communication system.
- Develop standards, guidelines, and procedures for the development and evolution of technical systems. As a PostgreSQL Database Administrator, you will contribute to the digital transformation of the Integrated Police.
- You will ensure the implementation of a secure, modern, and high-performance database environment.
- Within a multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for the design, management, and optimization of PostgreSQL databases, with a particular focus on security and reliability.
- You will also participate in the backend development of Python applications and code management via GitLab.
Your tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Management and optimization of PostgreSQL databases (backup, restore, monitoring, performance tuning),
- Design of database structures and development of data synchronization mechanisms,
- Support for development projects via custom database solutions, Integration of Python backend programs with PostgreSQL,
- Setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines in GitLab,
- Possible support for the implementation of other database management systems.
- Optional: use of Elastic Stack for monitoring and logging.
Formation:
Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
