Project Lead – Cables
We are looking for a Project Lead – Cables to support electrical infrastructure projects across the Belgian energy sector. The projects cover high-voltage cable infrastructure at 380, 220, 150, 70 and 36 kV levels.
You will be involved throughout the entire project lifecycle, working with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers, contractors and customers to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and according to scope, budget and schedule.
The Role
As a Project Lead, you will take responsibility for coordinating and managing cable infrastructure projects from the initial definition and study phases through to execution and final project closure.
Depending on your experience, you will either take ownership of these responsibilities independently or work under the guidance of a more experienced Project Lead.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the full project lifecycle, from project definition and feasibility through to design, execution and administrative closure.
- Contribute to and coordinate technical studies related to high-voltage cable infrastructure.
- Carry out technical calculations and contribute to the development and monitoring of project budgets and schedules.
- Plan projects based on available resources, project requirements and customer needs.
- Prepare tender and procurement documentation and participate in the purchasing process.
- Lead and coordinate site execution in collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, contractors and customers.
- Monitor project progress and ensure that execution remains aligned with technical, financial and planning requirements.
- Communicate and report regularly on project status, progress and potential issues.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams throughout the project to ensure successful delivery.

Your Profile
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- Excellent knowledge of French and good knowledge of Dutch.
- Strong interest in the energy sector and electrical infrastructure.
- Strong sense of responsibility and excellent organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills with a confident and customer-oriented approach.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Practical, solution-oriented mindset with a good degree of creativity and resourcefulness.
