Internship description
During your internship, you will receive guidance to become a Developer (= Technical Consultant). You will be part of one of our Development teams and learn how to work in a fast-evolving and international environment. At the end of the Internship, you will have a solid base to work in an IT consultancy firmlike Itineris.

We have open positions in the Development teams, either for the Regulated (= Water) or for the Deregulated (= Electricity & Gas) market, for Europe as well as for North America.

All positions will be based in Ghent, Sint-Denijs-Westrem (buses 76, 77 and 78 coming from Gent-Sint-Pieters stop right in front of the building).

As our Intern, you will…

• Work in a UMAX product development team, and you will be assigned to a specific domain (e.g. Meter Data Management, Market Interaction, Asset Service Management, Prospect to Contract, CRM,...).
  • UMAX is the brand name of our software solution for water and energy utilities. It automates their business processes and enables them to better engage with their customers. UMAX is a cloud-based solution, built on the powerful Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform. 
• Learn:
  • How we use the Scrum methodology in our projects.
  • The Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) processes.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O and X++ and/or .NET/Angular.
  • Our different software modules & our data model.
  • How to analyze & evaluate a functional analysis.
  • How to make a technical design based on functional analyses.
  • To build effective product backlog items based on functional analyses (incl. unit testing & bug fixing).

What you bring

• Final year Bachelor or Master in Informatics or similar (no 'Graduates' )
• Excellent oral and written communications skills in Dutch and English.
• A dynamic team player, eager to gain valuable experience in a fast-changing technological environment.
