A leading financial institution is strengthening its technical team supporting the Murex trading and risk management platform.
The role focuses on backend software development, CI/CD automation, and integration within the high-performance dealing room environment, supporting traders, back office, and foreign branches.Responsibilities
- Translate functional specifications into technical design.
- Develop and maintain backend components of the Murex ecosystem.
- Set up and enhance CI/CD processes and automation.
- Conduct self-review and peer code reviews.
- Perform integration and technical testing with interfacing systems.
- Resolve incidents, defects, and support application maintenance.
- Collaborate with business and ICT stakeholders.
- Provide documentation, performance tuning, and weekend/holiday support when required.
Requirements
Must Have
- 5+ years backend software development experience.
- Strong Java (object-oriented) and Java SDK expertise.
- C++ experience.
- GitHub / BitBucket – Expert.
- Linux – Expert; Shell scripting mandatory.
- CI/CD setup and automation experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Agile methodology experience.
- English – Fluent.
Should Have / Nice to Have
- Experience with Murex platform (strong asset).
- Knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL).
- Python programming knowledge.
- Financial markets domain experience.
- Experience supporting regulated environments.
