About the Role

RELYzIT Talent is seeking a Medior Backend .NET Developer for a high-impact freelance assignment with our client in Brussels. This is a 3-month project where you’ll be at the heart of developing and evolving core business applications that power real-world outcomes. You’ll join a team of elite builders, leveraging your expertise to shape robust, scalable solutions that matter.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend components using .NET Framework (4.5+) and .NET 8+.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and interfaces, ensuring seamless integration with business applications.
• Interpret and implement UML and BPMN models to translate business processes into technical solutions.
• Work with SQL Server (2016–2025) and Oracle 19 databases: design, query, optimize, and manage data structures.
• Apply design patterns and architectural recommendations to deliver scalable, maintainable code.
• Develop interfaces using ASP.Net WebForms and MVC.
• Implement data exchange using XML and JSON, adhering to W3C standards.
• Utilize WebAPI, WCF REST, WCF, and Web Services for robust service-oriented architecture.
• Leverage Azure DevOps for CI/CD, using GIT and TFVC for version control.
• Contribute to corrective and evolutionary maintenance of existing applications, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Write and execute unit tests to guarantee code quality and stability.
• Diagnose and resolve technical incidents with analytical precision.
• Collaborate closely with analysts, architects, and fellow developers in an Agile (Scrum) environment.
• Champion best practices, including SOLID principles and object-oriented development standards.
• Optionally, utilize Redgate tools to enhance database development and deployment.

• Proven experience in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong understanding and application of SOLID principles

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills

Language Proficiency

• Fluency in French is essential (the team operates predominantly in French)
