Heidelberg Materials Benelux is currently looking for a
LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
to join the team at our headquarters in Braine-l’Alleud.

You’ll reinforce our motivated Learning & Development team and will report
directly to the L&D Manager.
YOUR TASKS &
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Manage the day-to-day organization and administration of trainings for our three Business Lines and the full employee population, with a strong focus on technical and function-specific trainings, while also supporting mandatory, certification, refresher and soft skills training activities. 2. Maintain close contact with the Business, managers and local contacts to collect training requests, coordinate registrations, follow up outstanding actions and ensure that training activities are organized on time. 3. Support the local Training Administrators based at the different plants by answering operational questions, sharing information and best practices, and ensuring a smooth communication flow between the sites and the L&D team. 4. Centralize and follow up training requests, including registrations with training providers, purchase orders and subsidy requests in close collaboration with the L&D Manager. 5. Manage the practical and logistical organization of trainings, including invitations, training dates, meeting rooms, catering, participant lists, training materials and feedback forms. 6. Follow up mandatory trainings and certifications and contact the relevant managers, employees or local contacts when actions are still required. 7. Prepare and maintain training reports and follow-up lists to provide the L&D team and the Business with a clear overview of registrations, attendance, completions, certifications and outstanding actions. 8. Coordinate with internal and external training partners regarding planning, registrations, practical arrangements, documentation and administrative follow-up. 9. Contribute to L&D improvement projects, particularly regarding Workday, in collaboration with Heidelberg Materials Group. 10. Act as back-up for your L&D colleagues for the operational administration and coordination of technical, mandatory and soft skills training programs. 11. Ensure the complete administrative follow-up of trainings in Workday and other internal systems, including:
* creating training sessions;
* registering and enrolling participants;
* following up attendance;
* recording completions and training hours;
* uploading and registering certificates;
* monitoring validity and expiry dates;
* keeping training records accurate and up to date;
* following up missing information and outstanding registrations.
YOUR PROFILE
Education:
Administration, HR or similar – Bachelor or equivalent by experience
Experience:
affinity with HR, Learning & Development & Health & Safety matters General
qualifications:
* Dutch and French (bilingual), fluent in English (business level).
* Organized, flexible, team-player and focused on agreed deadlines
* Pragmatic, proactive and solution minded
* Customer-focused and result oriented
* Ready to travel to different locations in Belgium (RMC sites, AGG quarries…) according to the needs (It is essential to have a B driver's license.) OUR OFFER:
