Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
• Partner with the Regional Business Manager to translate regional priorities into clear operational plans, actions, and follow-up.
• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of sales and service agreements, from preparation and internal approval through signature, system setup, review, renewal, and closure.
• Coordinate contract terms with Sales, Legal, Finance, and other stakeholders; explain requirements clearly and act as the first point of escalation for contract-related matters.
• Monitor contractual obligations, deadlines, pricing updates, rebates, accruals, and payouts, ensuring accurate and timely execution.
• Identify commercial and operational risks arising from market, customer, process, or contractual changes and coordinate appropriate mitigation actions.
• Lead, coach, and develop a five-person B2B Customer Care team, setting clear objectives, monitoring performance, supporting workload prioritisation, and promoting a strong customer-centric culture. Business Operations, Systems & Customer Experience
• Maintain high operational service standards and act as escalation support for complex customer or service issues.
• Serve as regional super user and trainer for Salesforce, including CPQ, promoting adoption, data quality, consistent ways of working, and first-level support.
• Support effective use of ERP and business intelligence tools, including Infor M3 and BI solutions, in collaboration with global teams.
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of customer, commercial, and operational data across regional systems.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, forecasts, and business analyses that provide actionable insights to regional management.
• Track agreed KPIs and service levels, including responsiveness, issue resolution, logistics performance, sales turnover, contract compliance, and customer experience.
• Analyse trends and root causes, define corrective actions, and follow through to measurable and sustainable improvement.
• Drive continuous improvement and responsible automation of regional processes in partnership with Sales, Customer Service, Finance, IT, and global teams.
• Document and standardise key processes, controls, roles, and handovers to strengthen operational resilience and business continuity.
• Provide operational backup for Customer Service and Service Coordination when required.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects and perform other relevant duties in line with evolving business priorities. Education, Skills & Experience
• At least five years of relevant experience in business operations, commercial operations, contract management, customer care, or a comparable function.
• Demonstrated people-management experience, with the ability to coach, develop, motivate, and organise a team of five.
• Strong understanding of contract lifecycle management, commercial processes, controls, accruals, rebates, and cross-functional governance.
• Analytical mindset and confidence working with KPIs, dashboards, data quality, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
• Strong communication, stakeholder-management, active-listening, influencing, and negotiation skills.
• Customer-centric and commercially aware, with sound judgement and the ability to handle sensitive, complex, or time-critical matters.
• Organised, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities in a dynamic international environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word; experience with collaboration and reporting tools is desirable.
• Working knowledge of Salesforce CRM and CPQ is strongly preferred; experience with ERP systems such as Infor M3 and business intelligence tools is an advantage.
• Fluent professional English is required. Dutch or French is also required; additional languages are an advantage.
• A bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, commercial management, supply chain, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
