A private Family Office is seeking an experienced VIP Helicopter Captain for a yacht-based operation aboard a superyacht, operating on a dual-season basis between the Mediterranean and the Caribbean. This is a newly established operation offering the opportunity to help shape it from the ground up.
The Role
• Single-pilot and multi-crew VIP/VVIP flying for the owner, family, and guests (Airbus H135)
• Deck landings (day and night) on the yacht's helipad, plus operations at private and public locations across both cruising regions
• Close coordination with the yacht's captain, crew and shore-side operations team
• Full responsibility for flight safety, operational standards and passenger experience at the highest level of discretion Roster 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off, though in practice flexible around operational need — off time coordinated directly with the operating captain team rather than a rigid fixed pattern. Requirements
• ATPL(H), current type rating or ability to obtain one
• Minimum 3,000+ total flight hours, meaningful twin-engine and deck-landing experience
• Prior VIP, yacht-based, or comparable high-standards operational background strongly preferred
• Class 1 medical, fluent English
• Based in Europe; flexible to reposition between the Mediterranean and Caribbean seasons
